If you want to learn about best practice, we have the perfect webinar series for you. The blood culture pathway is a major diagnostic tool to detect a range of health issues. It’s how we determine if a patient has sepsis, a bloodstream infection and more. The right, early diagnosis leads to the right treatment.

This year, BD has hosted a webinar series called: Agreeing the Pathway: Achieving 24-hour Blood Culture Best Practice.

The aim is to embed a greater understanding around blood cultures, AMR strategies, and realise why it is so important to have standardised practice.

We have all faced restrictions and changes in practice in the last year. If your Trust has not got the capacity to run a 24-hour lab, how do you optimise the resources available to you, to ensure timely diagnosis?

BD aims to be an industry partner working with healthcare to provide solutions for a range of blood culture pathway issues, along with wider microbiology and pathology needs.

Becton Dickinson webinar series |What will you hear?

You will hear from industry experts, each tackling a separate issue on the diagnostic route. We’ll be looking at sepsis, AMR, audit quality, accreditation, diagnostic innovation and more.
