Digital Divide: Reducing inequalities for better health | Report launch

At the networking drinks of the Integrated Care Systems Roadshow in Leeds, we are thrilled to also be hosting a report launch of ‘The Digital Divide: educing inequalities for better health’. This report launch will feature speeches by Richard Stubbs, Chair of Yorkshire and Humber AHSN and more featured guests to be announced. 

The report stresses the importance of digital inclusion and proper data usage when it comes to health inequalities. The report will contain a series of recommendations which, if implemented by national government, local government, integrated care systems and other industry leaders, will reduce health inequalities exacerbated by the digital divide, and encourage better data collection of the social determinants of health, leading to more effective public health interventions.

If we are to truly unlock the power of digital for all our communities, then we must always be watchful of the potential risk that the digital divide brings.
