About this event

The housing crisis is one of the UK’s biggest challenges and has become ever-more important in the context of building back better in the aftermath of the pandemic. The Government is also undertaking an ambitious planning shake-up that sets out to be “a radical reform unlike anything we have seen since the second World War”.

This is a unique opportunity to create a real shift in the planning system to ensure it is fit for the needs for the future and for all.

This conversation with Minister for Housing Chris Pincher, chaired by Stephen Hammond MP will therefore be a timely and relevant discussion for our current housing situation. This will be an interactive discussion with relevant stakeholders that will discuss how the UK’s planning system can overcome its current challenges and create an ambitious series of reforms that will build a better future.
