Join us for a special breakfast briefing to explore Namibia’s hydrogen ambitions and hydrogen’s future in a net-zero world.

Chair of the session Rt Hon Claire Perry O’Neill will be joined by H.E. Mrs Linda Scott, High Commissioner of Namibia to the UK, James Mynupe, Economic Advisor to the President of Namibia and National Hydrogen Spokesperson and Charlotte Fenton, Deputy British High Commissioner to Namibia.

This session will explore how to integrate hydrogen into decarbonisation policy for economies the world over, using Namibia as a valuable case study. Economic viability of the molecule will require facilitating national policy and sufficient interest on the topic at COP26. Similarly, the finance sector and the wider private sector will be integral catalysts for commercialising hydrogen, so considering how to leverage these at COP26 and beyond will be a fruitful discussion.
