Event Project Manager
About the Event Project Manager role at Public Policy Projects
Full-time with options for WFH up to three days a week.
Salary: Dependent on experience
We’re looking for an experienced Event Project Manager to collaborate with our sales and policy teams and to deliver excellent events for our business.
Public Policy Projects (PPP) is a for profit think tank offering practical analysis and development across a range of sectors, including health, social care, life sciences, net-zero and climate change. At Public Policy Projects, we believe that good public policy is the essential foundation of an open, liberal society, and that is what we aim to provide. PPP convenes cross-sector stakeholders from the private public and third sectors, all of whom have an interest in the development of good liberal public policy. We disseminate knowledge and our latest thought leadership through a series of owned multi-media channels – policy reports, online journals, physical conferences, private dinners and virtual events.
Having around 2-5 years’ experience running and organising corporate events or similar role, the Event Project Manager will report to the Head of Operations & Delivery.
Managing projects and events from start to finish, the Event Project Manager will work closely with different members of the PPP team to organise and successfully deliver a wide range of events, from small receptions to large scale conferences along with fringe events at the Party Conferences. This is an exciting opportunity to help deliver a new ambitious programme for PPP as we continue to grow.
This role involves understanding the UK policy landscape. An active interest in health, life sciences and genomics policy and current affairs is key to success in this innovative, rewarding and target and delivery led environment.
