Bradford based manufacturer invests £12m to ramp up production of face masks

Bradford based Multibrands International has invested over £12 million in Panodyne face coverings. The investment comes after the Government  announced that face coverings will become compulsory in all shops and supermarkets from 24th July 2020. Failure to do so could result in a £100 fine.

Panodyne is a trusted UK supplier of high-quality PPE equipment, including certified, medical-grade Type I and Type II R facemasks that are fully tested to the highest European standards, including EN14683.

The Panodyne range also includes certified, medical-grade protective gloves, hand sanitizer, and non-contact thermometers for both daily and professional use.

Director at Multibrands International, Rizwana Hussain commented: “With lockdown measures easing, there is a real anxiety that we could face a second spike, if we don’t take protection and hygiene seriously to protect not just ourselves, but those around us.

"We have invested heavily in all the products in our Panodyne range to ensure it is manufactured to the highest quality for both professional and daily use. Our face masks are manufactured from the highest quality materials and fit securely, yet comfortably providing up to 98 per cent protection against harmful bacteria. ”

Bradford’s Multibrands International was established in 1998 manufacturing and supplying a range of premium quality, own-brand, everyday FMCG consumer essentials including personal hygiene, and advanced LED household lighting solutions to leading wholesalers and independent buying groups worldwide.

The company currently employs over 50 members of staff with additional administration and production facilities in India and China.
