Samantha brings recent experience working with senior stakeholders in the medical technology industry and a wide interest in the UK’s health policy landscape, particularly as it relates to clinical research, health inequality and NHS reform. Samantha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Sciences from the University of Exeter, where she specialised in Neuroscience and undertook further study in neuropharmacology and neural circuity before completing her dissertation on the role of brain states in psychiatric illness. Alongside university she also worked in the NHS and social care sector, providing her with a unique experience in understanding the structures and challenges of these workforces.
