PPP expands Programme team

PPP is delighted to welcome two new members to the Programme team.

PPP has recently expanded its team to deliver on two key programmes covering Diabetes and Wound Care, led by Ameneh Saatchi, PPP’s Senior Market Access and Policy Manager.

Rachel Millar has joined as Programme Lead to support Ameneh in convening discussion around these policy areas.

Before joining PPP, Rachel led the engagement on a public health campaign focussing on reducing inequalities in ageing outcomes. Her career to date has been focussed on public engagement, largely working in science documentaries across UK terrestrial channels. She is interested in health psychology and public health, particularly reducing health inequalities. She holds a degree in Biological Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.

Bhawna Kanwal joins PPP as Policy Analyst, supporting Ameneh and Rachel on these programmes.  Bhawna has a BA Hons in Business Economics, an MA in Economics, and most recently an MSc in Public Policy from Queen Mary University of London. She has a varied skill set built from experience in the travel and retail sectors, bringing analytical skills and adaptability to the role in navigating complex policy landscapes. Her expertise includes economic analysis, strategic thinking, a keen understanding of socioeconomic dynamics, and a commitment to shaping effective policies.

PPP is running seven Programmes in 2024 covering integrated care, cancer care, wound care, global genomics, rare diseases, medicines, and diabetes.
