Times Radio: To decarbonise at scale and speed, public-private partnerships are absolutely essential.
Former UK Minister for Energy and Clean Growth and Senior PPP Advisor, Rt Hon Claire Perry O'Neill speaks to @TimesRadio about how the public and private sectors can work together to keep making progress towards net zero.
“The UK Minister for Energy and Clean Growth, the Rt Hon Anne-Marie Trevelyan, is set to launch preparations on Monday afternoon for a key international summit which demonstrates the role of business and investors as the fundamental enablers in the global transition to net-zero.
“Public Policy Projects (PPP), the global policy institute, is organising and hosting the Pre-P4G Summit that afternoon. Since its launch back in 2018, this pro-business, venture capital approach has invested $300 million, leading to a reduction of over 110,000 tons of CO2. With COP26 just around the corner, it’s important that the public and private sectors understand how they can work together to keep making progress.”
