Stephen Hammond MP

Stephen Hammond MP is the Conservative MP for Wimbledon, and has been since 2005.  He was Minister of State in the Department of Health and Social Care from November 2018 to July 2019.  He was previously Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Transport from September 2012 to July 2014.  He was a member of the Treasury Select Committee from 2015-2018.

Stephen also served as Shadow Secretary of State for Transport from 2005 to 2010 and Parliamentary Private Secretary to Rt Hon Eric Pickles MP from 2010 to 2012. Before being elected to Parliament, Stephen worked for a leading fund management company and a number of investment banks including Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and Commerzbank Securities. He was a local councillor from 2002-2006.
